Week 1 Child Birthing

I wasn't surprised that most child births are done in hospitals or any other controlled environments.  Other countries are poorer therefore they use cheaper methods of child birthing and also many prefer the natural child birthing approach for many different personal reasons.  Many birth complications are more common in other countries because of the lack of doctor visits and poor nutrition.  Many child birth complication occur for different reasons and often times it is not the mothers fault.  If oxygen isn't being received by the infant it can cause brain damage and the child may be born with major defects.  Many mothers go through postpartum depression after child birth because they may not be able to catch up on their rest or may have many stressors that they are concerned about.  Prenatal care educates parents about remaining healthy to have a successful child birth and healthy child.  When I was 15 I became pregnant and later had a miscarriage.  I hid the pregnancy from my family, at about 51/2 months I had a miscarriage.  If I would of had the proper prenatal care, I believe I would of had a successful pregnancy.  Prenatal care is very essential because if there is an issue, the doctor can determine the problem and it can be solved early rather that later.
